Am I Weird For Wanting to Play DC Super Hero Girls: Teen Power?

Looks Like Bratz Meets DC Universe Online

I like a game with violence, blood, and mature subject matter. However, sometimes I just want to play something cute and fun. Sometimes you just want to hang out with the girls, go shopping, fight crime, save the world, and vent about high school, you know? Sure, you could wait for Gotham Knights or Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, but DC Super Hero Girls: Teen Power is the game we deserve, not the one we need right now. This is the video game tie-in to the Cartoon Network show DC Super Hero Girls.

DC Super Hero Girls: Teen Power

Announced during yesterday’s Nintendo Direct, the trailer gave us a glimpse of what this game will have to offer… or maybe everything it has to offer. We’ll see on June 4th. In DC Super Hero Girls: Teen Power, players will be able to take on the roles of the main characters from the show Supergirl, Batgirl, Wonder Woman, Bumblebee, Zatanna, and Green Lantern. The gameplay it will offer includes brawler-style combat contrasted with sim-like elements outside of battle, such as clothing customization, a selfie/photomode, and a social media sim.

Locations from the TV show appear, like Metropolis High School and the local café Sweet Justice. The show has a wide variety of villains inspired by the DC comics, so you can bet that there will be a bunch of baddies showing up. The main cast of the show is also expected to reprise their roles for the game. DC Super Hero Girls: Teen Power will be coming out on June 4th exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
