Among Other Things, Of Course
We’re inching ever closer to the release of Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition for the Nintendo Switch. In anticipation of this momentous event, Nintendo has released a new trailer that goes over some new additions. There’s improved music, new mechanics, and several brand new Nopons! You know, those mascot characters everyone loves so much.
To be clear, a lot of these new additions will be showing up in the epilogue being tacked on to the end of the game. This extra section can be accessed at any time, taking place a year after the events of the original game. Shulk is working with the aforementioned Nopons to battle enemies infected with Black Mist. This all takes place on the Bionis’ left shoulder.
There’s more, of course. The affinity system has been improved, letting you track down side quest objectives more efficiently. Fashion Equipment lets you customize your look while maintaining your optimal stats. You’ll also enlist the help of Noponger Squads during the epilogue. Between all of this, the clean visuals, and the upgraded music, it seems like the perfect time to dive into the Xenoblade Chronicles story. The new trailer is embedded below. Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition is out for the Nintendo Switch on May 29th, 2020.
