Two-Man Squad

If you’ve been enjoying Call of Duty: Warzone since its release, you’re not alone. More than 50 million people have since logged in to check out what Infinity Ward and Raven Software have been serving up to FPS fans, with little signs showing of slowing down. Raven Software creative director Amos Hodge has officially gone on record as saying that they’ve been hard at work in developing the duos mode; however, more time is required to iron out the game mode. In an interview with GamerGen, Hodge detailed not only that the team has been going through the process of eliminating bugs, but also that the timing of the duos mode release is essential. Raven Software wants to make sure that players’ interest in a two-player-squad mode is at its peak before releasing the final version.

Infinity Ward and Raven Software have operated Call of Duty: Warzone on a teeter-totter. The way the current system cycles is seemingly random, with modes being added and subtracted at any time. Players have taken to online forums to discuss their displeasure with having playlists being deactivated with no warning at all. Most recently, players were up in arms when the removal of trios mode took place over the course of a week.
