You Can Now Play Warzone On Your Own
Call of Duty: Warzone has come out of the gates swinging. COD’s take on the battle royale craze has done remarkably well as it has already amassed more than 15 million players in its first week. While the game has been an unquestionable hit with players, it has been lacking in the way of modes to play. A recent update has just been released that will now let you play solo games rather than be forced to play squads.
Solo play tends to be for the more competitive people out there. While it is always a good time teaming up with your friends, sometimes it is better off to try and go in on your own. Solo tends to be a much more suspenseful and tense style of game compared to squads. No one will be there to help you, in the same way, no one will be there to drag you down. It will be you against the world.
Players could technically play on their own before this update by not filling up their squad. But this would, of course, put you at a massive disadvantage. A solo squad against teams of three is something you might see streamers try and pull off, but the average joe is going to struggle to win. Now you can at least be on a level playing field.
It is unclear if Call of Duty: Warzone is going to keep this a permanent game mode or just have it around for a limited time. It would be unusual if the developers did end up taking out solo mode as every other big battle royale game has the option to play on your own.
