This Time On Dragon Ball Z
They super swear that this one will be different from all of the others that came before! Bandai Namco has published a new Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot video that leans on fan nostalgia, recruiting the original English narrator to give it that extra DBZ flavor we’ve been craving.
The video in question goes over all the cool stuff included in this latest entry in the Dragon Ball Z game adaptation saga. You’ll be battling Vegeta, Frieza, and Cell! Play as Son Goku and several other fan favorites! Train, fish, fight, and cook! Are we absolutely certain that none of this is familiar?
The trailer in question is embedded below. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is coming to PC, PS4, and the Xbox One on January 17th, 2020. While I am personally a little weary of the well-trod Bandai Namco DBZ universe, don’t let that stop you from dumping coal in the hype train’s engines. Even if this ends up feeling incredibly familiar, the team at Bandai Namco is trying something new with an action RPG format. Who knows? Perhaps this modified version of the established formula will finally feel like a different game than the one we’ve been playing for over a decade.
