Catch Up On The Half-Life Games You Missed For Free

At Least Until The New One Comes Out

In order to prepare for the imminent release of Half-Life: Alyx, it’s not a bad idea to do a little catching up. You know, go through the previous games and piece together what’s happened so far. Thankfully, all of the old Half-Life Games are free to play on Steam right now. All you have to do is download them!

Half-Life 2 Feature 1280

In related news, there are a ton of these games floating around. Steam’s catalogue includes Half-Life, Half-Life: Opposing Force, Half-Life: Blue Shift, Half-Life: Source, Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Lost Coast, Half-Life Deathmatch: Source, Half-Life 2: Episode One, and Half-Life 2: Episode Two.

Okay, so you actually need to go to each individual game’s Steam page, find the “play for free” button, and then download the game. Still, this is an easy way to either relive these precious moments or like, catch up. For example, I have never played a Half-Life game. That means I need to play through nine title by March if I want to get properly current. This crazy deal is only active until Alyx comes out, after that these become products with price tags once again. Act fast, go nuts, and above all, have fun!
