Dude Looks Like a Lady
Fighting games like Street Fighter may not be known for their lore, but knowing who’s who and what they have gone through with each other would help explain this Street Fighter V DLC character. Seth is making his comeback, but in a pretty odd way. During the events of Street Fighter IV, Seth was killed by Juri. Now, Seth is back in the body of Doll Unit 0, so he looks kind of feminine. Officially, Seth is gender-less, but goes by he/his pronouns. The deep voice and name also kind of suggest that he’s a male.
The Doll Units are creations of M. Bison because he’s evil and kind of a pervert, evidently. The ball in Seth’s abdomen is called the Tanden Engine. The Tanden Engine is also a special V-Skill that allows Seth to copy his oponent’s V-Skill and use it against them before needing to copy it again. Seth’s second V-Skill is called Tanden Dash, which allows him to dash across the screen at his opponent. This dash can be cancelled if the opponent is about to block or interrupt it, but it can be used to deal increased damage if Seth begins a combo with it.
Seth and other Season 3 and 4 DLC characters will be part of Street Fighter V Champion Edition which is set to release on February 14th, 2020. Players who already own a copy of Street Fighter V can download an upgrade for their copy to the Champion Edition, for a cost. Street Fighter V is available for PC and PS4.
