Can I Get a Hell Yeah?!
Throughout the WWE video game franchise, MyCareer has always been one of the most important parts of the game. It might have gone by different names at certain points in time. However, the core ideas still remained intact. It has always been a total blast to create a character and then climb the WWE ladder straight to the top. The story-driven elements of the MyCareer mode also work so much better than other sports games due to the great personalities that are present in professional wrestling. 2K20 seems no different than last year. And that’s a good thing.
The trailer does a good job of highlighting some of the changes that have been made to the character creation this year. It appears as though you’ll have much more freedom than in previous years. Which is really saying something. The created character that has been made in the 2K WWE series has been remarkable. The programing offers such a level of detail you can create wrestlers that are not available in the game. You could also create many other characters too. For instance, if you wanted to make Winston Churchill get into a TLC match with Ronald Reagan, you could totally do that.
It also looks like there is going to be more story options for player this time around. There will not be matches that the player will be forced to win. If you lose a match it will simple unlock a new branch of the story. 2K hopes that this will give players a much more authentic experience this year. It will really immerse players in the ups and downs of the WWE.
WWE 2K20 is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on October 22nd, 2019.
