EA and Valve Partner Up
Multiple EA games and the subscription service EA Access are heading to Steam, a Tuesday announcement revealed. Also, Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order is now available on Steam for pre-order and it’s scheduled to launch on Valve’s store on November 15th.
“In the coming months, players on Steam will also be able to play other major titles like The Sims 4 and Unravel Two,” the announcement read. “Multiplayer games—like Apex Legends, FIFA 20, and Battlefield V—will become available next year, and players on both Origin and Steam will have the ability to play together.”
EA Access is planned to come to Steam sometime next Spring.
The reach of EA Access has been expanding this year. In June, it was announced that the subscription service would be coming to PS4 in July and it’s been available on Xbox One since 2014. Subscribers have access to dozens of EA’s released games and can even play upcoming EA games (such as Need for Speed Heat) several days before they launch.
