Gamescom Opening Night to Have 25 Games According to Geoff Keighley
Gamescom 2019 is just mere hours away and although rumors are flying about what games could be showcased over the 5 day event in Cologne, Germany host Geoff Keighley has some juicy tidbits of information to share as well. So what did he have to say? It seems that opening night is set to be 2 hours long, featuring 25 titles!
Geoff Keighley is set to host the opening night ceremony, which will be livestreamed around the world, and he took to Twitter to increase hype for the big event. According to his recent post, fans can expect to see more on the following: Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, Death Stranding, Gears 5, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and Need for Speed Heat. Oh, and there’s much more than that coming from the likes of Epic Games, Capcom and Ubisoft. You can check out his big tease below to find out all of the games and developers/publishers mentioned.

Although the above tweet doesn’t include the length of the show or the number of games to be showcased, he dropped that information in a follow-up tweet. As you may have already gathered from Geoff Keighley himself, the Gamescom action all begins tomorrow in Germany, and you can watch it all live for yourself at 11 am PST/ 2 pm EST tomorrow.
