Outriders from Developer People Can Fly Revealed with New Trailer at E3
About this time last year Square Enix trademarked a brand new IP called Outriders, yet everything remained quiet. While they’ve previously teased Outriders before E3 this year, they came out in full force, along with developer People Can Fly, to showcase a brand new spectacular trailer.
Square Enix has finally unveiled their brand new project as part of their E3 2019 show. The new sci-fi shooter is a collaboration between Square Enix and the developers behind Bulletstorm and Gears of War: Judgement, People Can Fly, and it looks awesome. In the tease before the show the publisher described the game as “A journey across a dark and desperate sci-fi world in search of the source of a mysterious signal.” You can check out the debut trailer below.
While the details of the game weren’t totally overwhelming, what we do know so far is that it will be a 1-3 player, drop-in-drop-out co-op shooter set “in an original, dark and desperate sci-fi universe”. And although we may not know a specific release date, Outriders is set to drop in summer 2020 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
