Nintendo Reveals the Dr. Mario World Release Date
Seemingly out of nowhere Nintendo has taken to Youtube with a brand new trailer for their new Dr. Mario World title. The best part? It came complete with a surprise release date and it’s on the horizon.
Back in January of this year Nintendo announced Dr. Mario World, a brand new mobile game coming to iOS and Android devices. Up until today however, there was no mention of when we could hope to get our hands on it. In a quick and unexpected move on Nintendo’s part, the release date was revealed as none other than July 10th, 2019. You can check out the first look trailer below.
According to the video, the game is level based and becomes more difficult the further you progress. Within the game, you will be playing to connect different colored pills in order to destroy viruses in a match three format. Much like other similar titles, you’ll have a certain number of lives to try to beat the levels, and once you’re out of them you’ll either have to wait a period of time to recharge them or pay to have them replenished.
The game is set to have five worlds, though at this time there’s no word on just how many levels make up each of them. You can also see in the trailer that there are at least five various doctors to choose from: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, and Yoshi. The game does have microtransaction where you can purchase Diamonds that helps grant you numerous different things.
Dr. Mario World will be released on July 10, 2019 and is now available for pre-order for free. What do you think about Dr. Mario World? Is this game right up your alley? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and don’t forget to keep it locked for updates!
