Raise a Little Hell
The Elder Scrolls Online has been active for over five years, and it’s still kicking. Eleven DLC pieces and two expansions later, the game is approaching its third major expansion. The Elder Scrolls Online Elsweyr expansion was first announced early this year in January. This area has not been playable in an Elder Scrolls game since the first installment Arena. The game’s return to the area brings with it an ancient and terrifying power: necromancy. Earlier today, publisher Bethesda released a trailer focusing on the new Necromancer class for this expansion.
The trailer is narrated by a necromancer speaking words of temptation. The power he appears to command will seduce any players who wish to manipulate the dead. The addition of a new class is like the previous expansion Morrowind, where fans would play as the Warden class that could command aspects of nature. In this expansion, dragons have returned to Tamriel. It is up to the player to find out what has brought them back and how to prevent the destruction they bring.
The Elsweyr expansion to the Elder Scrolls Online is set to launch on June 4th. That’s just over a month away. If you have not started playing, but want to, it’s easier than ever. If you pre-order it now, you get immediate access to the base game as well as the first two expansions Morrowind and Summerset. If you pre-order digitally, you also get access to a digital-exclusive mount. Once again, the Elsweyr expansion comes out on June 4th on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
