Expect Serious Spoilers Online Soon
With Kingdom Hearts III just over a month away, anticipation is building to a fever pitch. So of course someone has stolen a bunch of copies of the game to leak online. A couple of well-known gaming Twitter accounts have posted evidence that someone snagged some copies of the game through an illicit retail connection.
It seems like these stolen copies of the game are being sold for $100 a pop. Pretty brazen of the thieves, but it will absolutely work. With this critical info in hand, dedicated Kingdom Hearts fans will want to stay the hell off of social media for the next little while. After all, you don’t want to spoil the…. story? Of this game?
Okay, cards on the table, I’m truly unclear about what the thieves hope to reveal that we don’t already know. Square Enix has released a tremendous amount of video footage of this game. We know a huge list of the worlds Sora and his friends will be visiting. If these criminals can somehow spoil the game in a way that makes the Kingdom Hearts narrative make any sense at all, I want to be on their mailing list. Most videos breaking down the overarching plot are like an hour long. Either way, Kingdom Hearts III is out on January 25th, 2019.
