New DLC for This War of Mine: Stories Is Coming Soon
The second DLC for This War of Mine: Stories, titled “The Last Broadcast”, is going to launch on the PC on November 14th, according an official press release.
The DLC’s story was written by Meg Jayanth, one of the writers behind the acclaimed 2014 indie game 80 Days, and it focuses on a radio operator who reports news.
According to Project Lead Tomasz Kisilewicz, The Last Broadcast’s main theme will be about “the price of telling the truth.”
“In this [DLC], we’re introducing a lot of new content with different endings, new gameplay mechanics, new moral dilemmas about telling the truth that influence the world, new playable civilians, a new shelter people can live in, and new sites of the city of Pogoren to visit,” Kisilewicz said. “It had to be at least as good as the other stories you can find in This War of Mine.”
The Last Broadcast will cost $3.99 and will be available on Steam, Humble Store, GOG, and other digital retailers. The price of the season pass for This War of Mine: Stories will go up from $4.99 to $6.99 on November 14th because of “the significant growth” of this upcoming DLC.
