The Legend of Bowsette
Nintendo fans can’t seem to get enough of Bowsette, the Bowser/Peach mashup that has taken the world by storm. Now it appears that modders are going the extra mile and incorporating the fanmade character into various Nintendo titles. In this case, a modder by name of the Lynard Killer has added Bowsette to last year’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Check it out in action below:
The mod is seriously impressive. It replaces Link with Bowsette who comes equipped with a slick black dress with its own physics. You can play through the entire game this way too since the 3D model still has access to everything Link would have on his journey.

If you haven’t been following along with the whole Bowsette craze, allow us to quickly explain. The character was whipped up by an artist who goes by Ayyk92 for a comic strip. The character was inspired after the Super Crown power-up for Toadette that will appear in New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe for the Nintendo Switch. The in-game power-up allows Toadette to transform in Peachette.
Ayyk92 then began to wonder what would happen if Bowser was affected by the Super Crown in the same way, finally giving birth to the Bowsette character. Fans were immediately smitten, resulting in the character going viral.
