Capcom Will Have Some Big Games Playable At Gamescom This Year

Zombies and Demons and Such

An announcement from Capcom Germany detailed a couple of the games that will be playable at Gamescom 2018. In particular, it looks like fans will be able to get their hands on both Devil May Cry 5 and the Resident Evil 2 Remake. For anyone hitting up the massive European convention, this could be a rare opportunity indeed.

Devil May Cry 5 Rumors

This will be the first time Devil May Cry 5 is playable in any form. Lucky fans will guide Nero through the streets of Red Grave City, presumably killing just all sorts of demons. Also, game director Hideaki Itsuno will be there signing autographs. Hopefully he won’t have to field too many questions about why Nero is featured so heavily in the playable section and not like, Dante or something.

Fans will also get some hands-on time with the Resident Evil 2 Remake, though this has been playable before at E3. Still, anyone attending the show would be wise to check it out. Everything we saw in LA suggested this one will be worth the wait. Devil May Cry 5 will be out sometime next Spring, while the RE2 Remake is coming out on January 25th, 2019.
