Starlink: Battle for Atlas Gets Brand New Gameplay Video
During Ubisoft’s E3 press conference they revealed a whole lot more about their upcoming toys-to-life space action game Starlink: Battle for Atlas. Today, just a few weeks after their big reveal, they’ve released a brand new gameplay video highlighting Star Fox and his Arwing in action.
While it seems Star Fox is playable only on the Nintendo Switch version of Starlink, the video shows off the game on both the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One. Oh, and did we mention that the gameplay video is quite lengthy, putting a heck of a lot of Starlink: Battle for Atlas on display? That’s right, the entire video runs just over 31 minutes long!
The first half of the video shows Star Fox in action on the Nintendo Switch before it moves into the Xbox One version in the second half, around the 16:50 mark. As a result, you’ll get to see two completely different ships, two different pilots, as well as how to swap them. You can check the video out below.
If you’re curious what to expect from the game, you can check out what we had to say when we went hands-on with the game at E3, “Starlink: Battle for Atlas employs the toys-to-life formula in a brand new and fascinating way. The ships are light, easy to use, and comfortable in our hands. The game is fun as well, an experience that could easily stand on its own without the new toy technology. Adding Fox McCloud to the Switch version was a savvy move too, as this could bring in a whole new audience to this side of space. Keep Starlink on your radar when it launches on October 16, you’ll be glad you did.”
Starlink: Battle for Atlas will be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch on October 16th, and it’s available to pre-order on Amazon right now.
