PlayStation Experience Returns for E3 2018
Sony has announced the return of their PlayStation theater experience for E3 2018. For the fifth year in a row, the company will be broadcasting their E3 press conference across cinemas around the globe. Today, they’ve provided details on how to gain access.
On Monday, June 11th, the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and – starting this year – Chile will witness showtimes for Sony’s press conference on the big screen. It will be broadcast live, allowing fans to experience the same excitement as those who reside in the expo. The event offers fans the opportunity to witness new unveilings alongside fellow PlayStation enthusiasts. Just as well, there is the benefit of beholding gameplay on a much larger screen.
Tickets are limited and will be available on Tuesday, June 5th at 11:00 AM PDT. To register, simply visit the PlayStation Blog on the specified date. Tickets are first-come-first-served, and to retain yours after registering, you must check in at the theater 30 minutes before the show starts. Anyone who fails to attend will automatically forfeit their ticket. The way it works is, each theater will allow a line to form two hours ahead of the show; folks in line will be offered the seats of folks who fail to arrive on time.
Then, before the show starts, attendees will be gifted a bag with a poster and other goodies. In addition to physical swag, digital goods will be offered this year. Simply download the Experience PlayStation app to download your goods upon arrival. Afterward, just enjoy the show. Oh, and don’t forget to bring ID – You must be at least 17 years of age to attend. Theater locations can be found here.
