Clearly The PS4 Version Is Superior
Moonlighter is coming for you and your free time this May. Not mine, of course. That’s already long gone. To celebrate the game’s upcoming release, 11 bit studios has released a ‘Super Official Platforms Comparison’ trailer. This way, players can see all the key differences between the different versions of the game.
Embedded below, said trailer goes over critical components like hair rendering, water effects, particle effects and motion capture. Each platform comes with certain – look, just skip below, watch the trailer and then come back. Go ahead, I’ll even wait for you to finish.
Aaaaand we’re back. Isn’t it delightfully refreshing to see so many of those exhausting conventions chucked aside like expired ham? Moonlighter doesn’t want to lead you by the nose with minute examinations of teeny tiny discrepancies between high-powered gaming systems. This is supposed to be fun, after all. And it looks like it will be! Amusing digs aside, this game looks pretty gorgeous. That blend of charming pixel art, a soulful story and a compelling gameplay loop tick all the right boxes for me. assuming you’re similarly curious, you’ll want to keep your eye on this one when it releases for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on May 29th. A Switch release is coming later in 2018.
