Presumably, Gameplay Will Actually Be Shown
CD Projekt Red, the developers of The Witcher RPG series, might be giving a presentation for their upcoming sci-fi RPG Cyberpunk 2077 at E3 2018. Notably, gameplay for Cyberpunk 2077 has never been shown before even though the game has been in development since 2011.
Francesco Fossetti, the editor-in-chief of an Italian gaming news website, has recently claimed that he made an appointment with CD Projekt Red for an hour-long presentation at E3. Fossetti said that he didn’t know exactly what the presentation was going to be about but he added that it was going to be something important.
Cyberpunk 2077 is set in a futuristic, dsytopian United States where mega-corporations have all the power. Along with singleplayer mode, there’s also going to be multiplayer. A visual effects artist for the game said back in 2015 that it was going to be “far bigger than anything else that CD Projekt Red has done before”.
“Far, far bigger. We’re really stepping into the unknown in terms of complexity and size and problems we encounter,” the VFX artist added.
Some more Cyberpunk 2077 news: a new trailer for the upcoming RPG could be coming in the near future.
Cyberpunk 2077 is planned to be available for the PC, Xbox One and PS4.
