Switch And Xbox One Releases Forthcoming
Horizon Chase Turbo, that retro arcade racing game that looks and feels like days gone by, finally has a release date! For a couple of systems at least. If you’re holding your breath for a Nintendo Switch version, you might die first. But we’ll be getting the PC and PS4 versions really soon!
The two versions in question will be out on May 15th. There’s no concrete release date for the Xbox One and Switch versions, but even so, May 15th is pretty dang close. If you’re unfamiliar with Horizon Chase Turbo, it’s like an arcade racer from the 16-bit era, except prettier. Also the music is arguably superior!
The full version will release with over 30 vehicles and 109 tracks. If you’re curious about what it will be like, you can try out the mobile version for free! Although it’s pretty good, those touch controls are no substitute for a gamepad. Personally, I’m pretty willing to wait longer and/or pay more if it means I’m not relying on touch(y) nonsense. Plus, the console version will have local split-screen. If you’re gonna play an old-school arcade racer, you can’t go wrong with split-screen.
