Inside Collector’s Edition by iam8bit and RealDoll costs $375
iam8bit and RealDoll are partnering with Playdead on a mysterious collector’s edition for the award-winning puzzle-platformer adventure game Inside. The collector’s edition will include a PlayStation 4 game disc for Inside, Steam keys for both Inside and Limbo (emailed to customers at point of purchase), and some other stuff for $375.
Pre-orders for the Collector’s Edition will go live on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 7 a.m. PST on iam8bit.com. This is a timed release available only in the US and limited edition quantity will be determined by total orders placed by Friday, June 8, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. PST. After that date, orders for Collector’s Edition will no longer be available.
Of note, the Inside Collector’s Edition is only available to pre-order from the iam8bit US store, but ships worldwide.
The Inside Collector’s Edition is estimated to ship Q1 2019, and the full contents will be revealed at the time of shipping.

When Alex reviewed the game he said: “Inside is a great game, there’s no denying that. However, it’s not for everyone. If you’re not into problem solving, this game is not what you’re looking for. Throughout the game, there was only one section that really stumped me – beyond this, I was able to solve most of the problems with minimal issues. You’ll also need to make peace with the fact that you’ll die, a lot (according to the Achievements hub, I died 53 times in my first playthrough!). Another point I should note is the game’s length; it’s a 3 hour game with limited replay value (such as finding the collectibles and earning the Achievements), but I imagine many gamers will enjoy it enough for a second or third playthrough. Ultimately, if you enjoy dark games with a healthy dose of problem-solving and/or you enjoyed Limbo, then you’ll definitely enjoy Inside as well!”
