Barring An Errant Meteor Strike or Something
After two delays, Ni No Kuni II: The Revenant Kingdom has finally gone Gold. That means that, barring something crazy and highly improbable, we’ll actually get the game next month! What a wild ride this has been.
With this latest announcement, Ni No Kuni II is actually, totally, really coming out on March 23rd, 2018. The upcoming Bandai Namco/Level-5 release has been hotly anticipated more or less since everyone finished playing the first one. If you’re confused as to what the hell all this is about, the ruler of Ding Dong Dell has been kicked off the throne. Only Evan and his team of Higgledies can band together and unite the land once more.
There’s a whole mess of Higgledies to collect, plus you’re actually building a kingdom. The new land of Evermore requires all sorts of things to make it a functional kingdom. You need shops, farms, military installations and also citizens to staff these places. So not only are you running around, collecting Higgledies and fighting off the forces of evil, but you’ve got to build a city-state as well. It’s no wonder this game’s been delayed twice already.
