Wild Stories and Wilder Combat Await
In the fullness of time, all indie games that exist on Earth will make their way to the Nintendo Switch. Indeed, it seems like we’re well on our way to achieving this goal, as a new batch of games are announced for the console every single week. To that end, with I Am The Hero coming to PS4 and the Switch, we are one step closer to the Switch/indie game singularity.
Like many, many games before it, I Am The Hero relies on a pixel art aesthetic to burrow its way into your subconscious and compel you to purchase it immediately. Thankfully, this title separates itself from the pack with a complex, well-crafted combat system. On top of being able to string together any number of juggling, dashing and striking moves, you can also use perfect timing to bust out exponentially higher-damage combos.
There’s no concrete date for the console release, but rest assured I Am The Hero will be on the Switch soon. If this trend continues, there will be a near-infinite quantity of games on Nintendo’s portable hybrid. In the meantime, check out the announcement trailer below!
