Guns, Gore & Cannoli 2 Release Date Announced, Comes Loaded With 4-Player Online Multiplayer

Targeting a March 2nd Release Date for Steam and Mac

A release date for Guns, Gore & Cannoli 2 has been announced by Crazy Monkey Studios, the sequel to its critically-acclaimed action-packed platformer shooter from 2015. It will launch on Steam and Mac on March 2nd.

The studio is adding a most-requested feature in the sequel: 4-player online multiplayer. A 4-player local multiplayer option will also be available for those that prefer playing with their friends in the same room.

A new campaign mode is set 15 years after the first game during World War II. Players will still take control of mafia hero Vinnie Cannoli in a new storyline that forces Vinnie to confront his past.

Here’s a brief description of what to expect in Guns, Gore & Cannoli 2:

“Traveling as far as the European battlefields of the second World War, players will get to whack mobsters, zombies, monsters, Nazis and everything in between. Using a ridiculous arsenal of weapons, you’ll blast yourself a way through a variety of gorgeous hand-drawn levels. The new weapon wheel and full 360° aiming combined with improved mobility of good old Vinnie lets you easily shoot everything that moves.”

Guns, Gore & Cannoli 2

Based on the new release trailer, Guns, Gore & Cannoli 2 looks to be bringing more of what the original game did so well, and that isn’t a bad thing. If you haven’t given it a spin yet, we’d recommend giving it a go if you’ve been itching for a fun 2D action game.

The sequel will cost $12.99 on Steam. Console versions for Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch are also in the works and will arrive in the coming months.
