Sega to Publish New Narrative-Driven Game from Makers of Heavy Rain

Prepare for Some Story-Driven Games from Sega

To enrapture more gamers in compelling storytelling, Sega has announced the publication of a new narrative from the makers of Heavy Rain.

The new narrative adventure will be developed by Interior Night, a new studio comprised of talent formerly of Quantic Dream. Formed in October 2017, their combined list of credits includes Heavy RainBeyond: Two Souls, and Wonderbook: Book of Spells. The โ€œbrand-new narrative driven IPโ€ will be their first game, what could potentially evolve into a string of narrative adventures. CEO Caroline Marchal believes the partnership with Sega will help โ€œdeliver a great narrative experience to existing gamers and to a broader audience.โ€

Marchal continued: โ€œWe are very excited to work with Sega on our first narrative game. Sega have demonstrated a strong desire to take risks, innovate and work collaboratively with studiosโ€.

As revealed by John Clarke, Segaโ€™s executive vice president of publishing, the partnership is part of the companyโ€™s aim to โ€œlaunch new franchises and experiences.โ€ That is to say, the deal with Interior Night is more than an opportunity for the developer; it represents a new direction for Sega. โ€œWeโ€™re really looking forward to working with Interior Night as their combined talents and imaginations evolve into a really strong narrative-driven gaming experience,โ€ Clarke added.

Stay tuned for more updates on the partnership between Interior Night and Sega. We look forward to following the development of their new IP as it unfolds.
