Capcom Speaks Up About Monster Hunter World Matchmaking Problems on Xbox One

“No Sessions Found” Error Currently Being Investigated

In case you haven’t heard, Monster Hunter World is awesome but there’s one console version that has been having more issues over the other. If you’re playing Monster Hunter World on Xbox One, you probably already know about the matchmaking errors that are plaguing the game since its launch on Friday.

While Monster Hunter World can certainly be played alone, you can also play with other people online to work together to take down certain monsters. Trying to find an online session on Xbox One, however, doesn’t seem to work. A “No sessions found” error is being widely reported on Reddit and Twitter.

Thankfully, Capcom has finally responded to the ongoing problem specifically through the official Monster Hunter World Twitter account. “Hello Hunters, we’re aware of the Xbox matchmaking issues and dev team is actively investigating it, we’ll update you as soon as we can,” reads the tweet.

Players have managed to find certain workarounds to meet other people in-game such as sending direct invites to friends. While that’s fine and good, it isn’t how the game was intended to be played.

The PS4 version, on the other hand, is not encountering these problems, despite the PlayStation Network having its own technical difficulties this past weekend. Some fans were quick to point out that Monster Hunter World was tested heavily on PS4 with multiple betas but not on Xbox One. Could this have been fixed if the beta was available also on Xbox One?
