It Could Be Based on His Upcoming Superhero TV Show
Itโs been awhile since Curtis โ50 Centโ Jackson has had anything to do with video games, but that doesnโt mean the famous rapper/actor/producer hasnโt been tinkering with new โuniqueโ and โextremeโ ideas.
In a new interview with GameSpot, 50 Cent was asked if he still has intentions to make a new video game. To which he said: โDefinitely, Iโm interested.โ
โI just have to find the right concept,โ he continued, while promoting his new movie, Den of Thieves. โEverything I touch, I want to be unique. I want it to be special. And I put thought into it because those things will be here longer than I wouldโฆwhen I come up with [another game], I want to make sure itโs something we enjoy for a long time.โ
Jackson appears to already have an idea in mind, and itโs based on his latest Starz TV show, Tomorrow, Today. Tomorrow, Today is an upcoming superhero drama that stars Jackson as a military veteran who gains superpowers after being experimented on by a mad prison doctor. Not much is known about the show other than that it is still in development.
โItโs definitely a cool idea,โ 50 Cent said. โAnd it gives people the ability to do things that they wouldnโt be able to do.โ
Jackson has released two video games in his career thus far: 2005โs Bulletproof and 2009โs Blood on the Sand. While neither has been breakthrough successes, the latter has definitely earned the reputation of a cult classic.
His new movie, Den of Thieves, hit theatres on January 19th.
