BlazBlue Will Serve as Arc System Works America’s First Title
Today, Gematsu reported that Arc System Works’ North American branch, Arc System Works America, will be helping with publishing duties for the upcoming BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle for North America as its first title. The crossover tag game has a heavy anime fan vibe to its roster and look, but it’s not just for Japanese otakus as the game’s main target audience is abroad.
Besides that, Gematsu translated the Japanese announcement that notes Arc System Works America will help out specifically in “sales and distribution of products developed by Arc System Works, as well as marketing, promotion, support, licensing, and localization duties.” Meanwhile, Arc System Works in Japan will likely handle game dev for the title.
BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle has no locked-in release date other than 2018, but the crossover fighter will be released for PS4, Switch, and PC.
