Nintendo Switch Players Will Get Oxenfree on October 6th
Night School announced last month that the spooky 80’s teen adventure, Oxenfree, would be coming to the Switch, and just last Wednesday, the indie devs clarified with a new trailer that its official release date is October 6th for $19.99.
This seems to be a straight port with no new features or endings, but that’s not a bad thing as the adventure game is still worth checking out. Its dialogue system, where you can walk away from others mid-sentence or interrupt their sentences, make for one of the best rude conversation systems in a game yet.
With other indie titles Darkest Dungeon and The Darkside Detective recently revealed to be coming to Switch, Nintendo is once again pushing on with its indie game momentum with Oxenfree‘s Switch release. As for the developers, Night School Studio, they haven’t announced any new game projects yet since releasing Oxenfree, the studio’s first title last year in January.
