Celebrate Candy and Costumes with Blizzard
One of our favorite holidays and the best holiday to many folks is being celebrated in Overwatch yet again. I am talking about “Halloween Terror,” where our favorite characters one another while celebrating in costumes.
So far, we’ve only gotten a tease courtesy of Blizzard, but it hints at new content as well as the return of the in-game festivities we saw last year. Last year, we got a ghostly Reinhardt, a Witch Mercy, a Jack-o-Lantern Reaper, and more.

The Overwatch Halloween Terror event represents the next celebration following the Summer Games event. Several in-game events appear over the course of the year, which leads to plenty of new Loot Box rewards. It’s how Blizzard keeps the game fresh while incentivizing veterans to return.
With the announcement of Halloween Terror, it’s more than likely Overwatch’s last in-game event of the year will be Winter Wonderland.
Which Overwatch Halloween skin do you hope to see? Let us know in the comments below. And check back on October 10th for the official reveal featuring everything that’s new, including potential re-skinned maps and new game modes. Until then and beyond,
Happy gaming.
