Get Ready for a Director’s Cut version of Night In The Woods
What a welcome surprise! Finji’s feels-infused homecoming tale, Night In The Woods, will be getting a Weird Autumn update on December 13th. This update is described as a “Director’s Cut” version for the game as it features “new weird”, “new crimes”, and “old tales”.
Here’s the new trailer below that actually shows off some new story content for the game:
Night In The Woods: Weird Autumn will be arriving on Xbox One, PS4, PC/Mac/Linux on December 13th. This new update will come as a free patch for all current owners of the game, and Finji has more information in the future for other platforms. While that last bit about other platforms may mean its mobile versions, I hope Finji is hinting that Switch owners will get to play this as well in the future. Besides that, Xbox One and PC/Mac/Linux players will get the two supplemental games Longest Night and Lost Constellation on launch date while PS4 players will get that good stuff in January 2018.
In the meantime, pick up the game if you haven’t as we loved the game in our review where we praised its witty dialogue.
