PS Plus Members, Check Your Emails for That Prey Refund
As reported by Gearnuke, Sony is reportedly offering a refund to PS Plus members who pre-ordered a copy of Prey from the PlayStation Store without the recent 10 percent PS Plus discount applied to it. A rather nice gesture from Sony to those who may have felt screwed over by pre-ordering the game and showing good faith for it.
Sony shared this nice bit of news in an email sent out today:
Thank you for your recent purchase of Prey. As a PlayStation Plus member, this should have been 10% off. We are correcting the issue and will refund your account within 3-5 business days.
The sci-fi game from Arkane Studios launched earlier last week as Bethesda has updated its review policy to sending media review copies one day before release. Thus, reviews for the game are still trickling in, but there have been major gaming outlets already praising the game with positive reviews. Again, while Bethesda’s review policy is questionable, their quality of games have, thus far, continued to be great.
If you’re still unsure on whether to purchase the game, you’re able to download the demo on consoles (sorry PC players) and try out the game’s first hour.
