Update 2.3.0 Released for Nintendo Switch
Alright, so a new firmware update for the Nintendo Switch has arrived, however it’s not entirely clear what it does. There is only one small description about the newest update!
On the official Nintendo website, update 2.3.0, the latest update, says “general system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience.” Now you may be wondering why this sounds familiar, and it’s because it is the exact same update description as what was given to the last two updates, 2.2.0 and 2.1.0. It is a very vague description and does not tell us how or what it does exactly, but at least we know that Nintendo is keeping up with system ‘maintenance.’
Earlier today we told you about the confirmation of a popular title from the Wii U coming to the Nintendo Switch: Dusty Raging Fist and even though a release date was not revealed, there will be a showcase for the game at this year’s BitSummit where new details are sure to make an appearance.
A few days ago it was also announced that GameStop would be offering an exclusive four-in-one game bundle for the Switch, at a price of $484.99. It is set to include the Nintendo Switch of course, as well as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Shovel Knight – Treasure Trove, and Has-Been Heroes. This means that more people may soon come to rejoice when Nintendo releases a new update, regardless of how vague or small it is!
