Next Member of Capcom’s Newest Street Fighter Game Shows up on NeoGAF
Capcom made a Twitter announcement regarding the newest Street Fighter V character, and one NeoGAF user appears to have figured it out early. A leaked image of the new fighter was posted on the site earlier this morning.
The fighter in question is Ed, a character previously seen with Balrog during the boxer’s story mode. Based on the clues from Capcom’s own teaser, it seems like Ed is a Shadaloo agent and full-blown Psycho Power user. This latest character announcement comes on the heels of some unfortunate delays to the CFN’s full release.
Ed wasn’t always the tall, muscular spare parts repository on display here. When he was first introduced in Street Fighter IV, Ed was a tiny bandaged child. Although he still has the limited Psycho Power and the Shadaloo history, it appears Ed has done some bulking up since SF IV. No word yet on what Ed’s move set is going to be like, although we’ve only a couple of days to wait for those details.
