Rumour Has it We’ll Learn Project Scorpio Specs for Real this Thursday
After months of speculation it seems like the newest Xbox system is getting a bit closer this Thursday. According to the latest rumour we’ll be seeing detailed Project Scorpio specs in just two more days.
A Twitter Post from The Inner Circle Podcast claims the full tech spec reveal will happen this Thursday through Eurogamer’s Digital Foundry. It’s no press conference, to be sure, but the info will still spread like wildfire. Of course, information gleaned from a single Twitter post is open to interpretation. At the very least, we’ll quickly know whether this drop date is legitimate.
All indications suggest that Scorpio is going to be doing 4K right, with multiple sources calling the system pretty “damn impressive.” The system’s initial library of releases looks impressive as well. Forza 7, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Star Wars Battlefront 2 are on tap to showcase Scorpio’s reportedly titanic graphical prowess. Hopefully by Thursday we’ll have the details required to determine the sort of muscle Microsoft is bringing to the latest round of console wars.
