New Destiny 2 Details Have Been Revealed
Last week we shared all of the current details for Destiny 2, including the future expansion plans and now more more information regarding combat abilities has been announced! Bungie has done a fantastic job hyping the Destiny sequel, with many fans dying to see what else will be revealed on May 18th. Destiny 2 is set to launch on September 8, 2017, and while it is months away, all of the newest details that are sure to be slowly announced are sure to keep us intrigued until then.
We already know that Hunters, Warlocks and Titans will make a return, although we’re unsure if they will have the same subclasses and abilities, or if there will be any other classes that will be joining the ranks. Many fans of the game have been asking what we can expect from the classes, and by extension, the combat abilities, and today we received an answer! Â On Twitter, it was revealed that there will be some new combat abilities to play around with. Check out the tweet below:

From this tweet we now know that there will be a new arsenal of weapons to use in our adventures in the unexplored worlds of Destiny 2! There are a few theories floating around about what players can expect from these new combat abilities. The first theory is that Bungie will keep the same subclasses (eg. gunslinger, sunsinger etc.) and rework these abilities to make them fresh and new. The second theory is that Bungie will create completely new subclasses based on elemental concepts. Lastly, the third theory suggests that these new combat abilities might not focus on subclasses or elemental concepts at all, but that this system will be completely revamped. The possibilities of these new combat abilities are endless, and what they will be is something we won’t know until Bungie wants us to know, but hey, maybe we’ll find out during the gameplay reveal on May 18th.
