Mayhem Continues in Continuum for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
Infinity Ward and Activision have released a brand new multiplayer trailer and screenshots for Continuum, the second DLC map pack for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Now you can fight on the mooooooooon!
CoD maps have always focused on fast-paced and frequent encounters, and these four new maps aim to deliver on that expectation with a few new twists – magnetic cranes, a beautiful relaxing spa with amid all the gunfire, a shark eating a ball – he wants to eat the ball so bad you guys, and a re-imagined classic.
That Shark Just Wants That Ball
The four maps are:
- Turista – A plush spa and resort, Turista is nestled in the middle of a giant skeleton of an ancient creature – possibly a shark?? This map has sniper nests on the outside, but quickly breaks down to tight corridors when you enter the spa ideal for close-quarters combat.
- Scrap – Set in an abandoned junkyard on the Moon (this is the moon level, guys), this map is all about angles and sightlines for that perfect around-the-corner bullet to the dome from 100 meters away, or a well-timed peek-a-boo at 2 feet. Also shoot someone upside-down with that magnetic crane!
- Archive – That shark is gonna eat that ball! Set in a post-modern art gallery, players will have difficulty peeling themselves from all the artwork to focus on getting those killstreaks. It’s all about running and gunning and using your environment to your advantage with exhibits you can touch. Also pet the shark, he is a good shark and very patient with the ball.
- Excess – a remake of Rust from MW2, this penthouse sits above the city skyline. If you remember Rust, you should have no problem adjusting to this map. If you haven’t, we’ll give you a hint: it’s all about circles.
The DLC also includes the next chapter in the Zombies mode: “Shaolin Shuffle”, which is reason enough to check it out! PS4 players get this title 30 days early on April 18th. PC and Xbox are released after the exclusivity period.
