Guardians of the Galaxy Episode 1 Release Date Revealed
Earlier this month a bunch of details, along with some screenshots were revealed for Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series. Now however, the release date for the first episode of the series, titled “Tangled Up in Blue,” has been revealed! Let’s just say you might be surprised by how soon the release date is.
Tangled Up in Blue is set to drop for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, as well as iOS and Android devices on April 18th for the low price of $4.99 USD! Along with this announcement, Telltale Games also discussed the season pass for Guardians of the Galaxy, stating that it will be available in North America on May 2, and internationally on May 5. The game will also be available as the physical disc version, which provides access to the first episode, and then the other four episodes as they become available on May 2 in North America. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series was originally announced in a teaser trailer at The Game Awards 2016. Following the announcement, at DICE 2017, it was revealed that the series would follow the Guardians after a major battle where they discover a powerful artifact. Here is the full synopsis of the game: “In the wake of an epic battle, the Guardians discover an artifact of unspeakable power. Each of them has a reason to desire this relic, as does a ruthless enemy who is the last of her kind, and who will stop at nothing to tear it from their hands.”
Telltale also confirmed that this Thursday, March 30th, at 9AM PST/ 12PM EST, a new trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy will be unveiled! Check out the screenshot of the villian, the Mad Titan Thanos, below!
