Xbox Backwards Compatibility Brings Borderlands 2 and Assassin’s Creed Rogue

Six Games Added to the List of Xbox Backwards Compatibility

Excited to bring you news of the next games to hit popular Xbox Backwards Compatibility. Some of the great titles of last generation are now available on Xbox One – the likes of Assassin’s Creed Rogue and Borderlands 2. Xbox’s Harry Lryb was happy to announce those along with four other titles. Here’s what you have to look forward to.

Borderlands 2

Among the games hitting this generation’s console, you’ll find Gyromancer. Representing a collaboration between Square Enix and Pop Cap, the unique puzzle-RPG hybrid grabs its cues from old-school medieval games and Candy Crush. Then you have Moon Diver ; ninjas and Sci-fi are a combination that seldom disappoint. Play the satisfying, side-scrolling platformer in a race to save humanity in a post-apocalyptic world.

For anyone up to fight in classic arcade, King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match is also available for your brawling pleasure. With a gigantic roster and plenty of move sets, there’s hours of fun to be had. And speaking of classic Space Invaders: Infinity Gene provides the sixth free title. 143 levels starts you in the original Space Invaders to evolve as you go.

Xbox Backwards Compatibility

A very interesting list worth perusing. But if Borderlands 2 is your go-to game this time, remember that it’s going free in Xbox Games with Gold on March 1-15. Just a small wait from now until then, so if you’re patient things will work out.
