And It Hits Us Like A Blizzard Of Ice, Epic Music, and Adventure!
It has been over a decade since players last heard from Kate Walker, the spunky heroine of Syberia 2. But that wait is officially over! Microids has officially announced the release date of Syberia 3 and given us a brand new trailer as well. Check it out!
The game will officially launch in North America, April 25th and will be available for PC/Mac, PS4, and Xbox One. We are told “The story begins when Kate is found left for dead on a shore by the Youkol tribe, a nomadic people caring for their snow ostriches during migration. Trapped, prisoners in the city of Valsembor, they will have to find together a way to continue their journey in a chase against their enemies and unexpected challenges. While at the same time, Kate’s past is catching up with her…”
Syberia 3 is set to feature a killer original soundtrack composed by Inon Zur, who has done work for Fallout 4, Dragon Age, Prince of Persia, and scored Syberia 2. It will also feature explorable striking landscapes and some challenging mysteries and puzzles. Microids will hold preview sessions during the upcoming GDC in San Francisco, as well as interview opportunities with creator Benoit Sokal (upon request) from Feb 28 to March 2. But that may be for developers only. But regardless, fans can locate more information on the upcoming title over on the game’s website, as well as artwork and screen shots.
