Rocket League Toys To Come Later This Year
Today, it was announced that Psyonix, the developer of Rocket League, has paired with the toy company Zag Toys to make toys based on the hugely popular game! This was announced alongside news that the game has reached over 26 million players. These will be the first Rocket League toys!
The toys will go on sale across North America in Spring 2017 and will be pull-back racecars that can zoom across any surface. There are going to be 12 cars in total, based on ones in the game, and each will have a different look. The toys will include Octane, Dominus, Masamune, Hotshot, Grog, X-Devil, Merc, and Backfire.
All 12 toy cars will come packaged inside of the Rocket League ball. On top of this great news, some of the toys will contain a code for an “exclusive” Rocket Trail and wheel that can be redeemed in Rocket League. While the toys will be available in Spring of this year, we will get to see them on display at the North American International Toy Fair in New York later on this month.
There is no word on whether the toys will be coming to any other countries, and the price for the toys was not announced either. Keep it locked for all of the details as they become available. Check out the toys in action below.
