Horizon Zero Dawn Gets New PS4 Pro Video
There’s no denying that Horizon Zero Dawn is something special and earlier today we told you just how special it is when we published our official video review. Today, Sony Interactive Entertainment released a brand new video of Horizon Zero Dawn but this time the video focuses on its resolution on PS4 Pro.
The video itself is uploaded in full 4K, so be sure to turn your YouTube settings to 4K and enjoy!
The native resolution of the game is actually checkerboard 2160p which is designed to be visually stunning, but less strenuous on the system. In the video you see lush environments and beautifully-designed machines in all their glory.
Our Executive Editor, Shawn Petraschuk took on review duties for Horizon Zero Dawn and it’s safe to say he was left impressed. In fact, impressed may not be an impressive enough word to describe it. He opened his review with glowing praise saying;
“Horizon Zero Dawn is a sweeping epic, magically dancing across the lines between sci-fi and fantasy, masterfully intertwining two genres that traditionally have held their own space in gaming. That’s not to say there haven’t been other games to do this crossover but none of them have achieved what Horizon Zero Dawn has. An open world Action-RPG mixing the best gameplay mechanics we’ve seen over the years with unique and dazzling elements of its own thrown in to blow your mind.”
The game is scheduled to release exclusively for PS4 on February 28th in North America, and on March 1st in Europe.
