Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Amiibo Unlockables Have Been Revealed in Detail, and They’re Beautiful
We all knew that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Amiibo unlockables were coming out alongside the plastic figures themselves. Finally, we can take a look at the Nintendo figures in a more detailed perspective, thanks to this video posted by GameXplain, who managed to get their hands on each and every one of them. You can see the figurines and get a more in-depth look at what you’ll be getting with them in-game for yourself below!
We’ll be getting Archer and Rider Link, Zelda, a Bokoblin and a Guardian when The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild launches alongside Nintendo’s newest console, the Nintendo Switch on March 3rd, 2017. The video also explains the Amiibo’s compatibility with Nintendo’s current line of consoles, although the back of the Amiibo boxes themselves don’t go much further into their functionality with the game. They do, however, show the items that you’ll be able to get early on in the game by having the Amiibo.
Along with a chest, each individual Amiibo will come with their own power-up items that players will be able to unlock early on in the game. Archer link will include an upgraded and powerful bow unlock, Rider Link comes with a sword and horse saddle, Bokoblin will unlock two ultra-brutal looking clubs, and the Guardian will grant players mysterious items along with the arrow that Link shot in the reveal.
These items aren’t going to be exclusive, though. They will be available to everyone in-game, just the Amiibos will help you get them much, much faster.
