A Longer Wait for Horizon: Zero Dawn
We can sense the panic setting it but rest easy fine people of the internet, the delay if proven true will only be by a couple more days and only for the unlucky folks in the UK. The PlayStation Store in the UK is stating that the game will unlock on March 3, 2017, the original UK release date before it was pushed forward to March 1. Globally, Horizon: Zero Dawn is slated for a Feb 28 release in North America and a March 1 release for Australia and Europe.
There’s obviously a chance that this could be a mistake but we’ve yet to hear anything back on it.
Originally scheduled to release in 2016, Horizon: Zero Dawn was pushed back by Guerilla Games because they wanted to make sure they were delivering the best game possible. The extra time was what they ‘required to deliver fully on our ambitious vision’ which sounds like a mighty fine reason to us. One of the most anticipated games for PS4 this year we’re ok with waiting if it means we get a super polished game.
Keep it locked to COGconnected for more on Horizon: Zero Dawn as we have it.
