Xbox “Biggest Sale Ever” Starts Later This Week
Yesterday, we told you about some killer Xbox One Amazon deals. Deus Ex Mankind Divided was discounted at a great price, plus we listed other great games in these Xbox One deals here. Today, the Xbox Wire revealed today that Xbox’s “Countdown” sale will begin December 22nd and last until January 9th. Called the “biggest sale ever”, the promotion will offer deals on games, movies, TV shows, music, and apps on both a daily and weekly basis.
Games from both Xbox One and Xbox 360 will be included, with discounts up to 60% off and over 40 backward compatible titles featured in the sale as well. The Xbox Wire states:
“Starting Dec. 22, Xbox fans can take advantage of Xbox Store’s biggest sale ever, Countdown. We’ll be counting down to the new year and continuing great deals through Jan. 9. The sale offers 19 days of deals on hundreds of games, movies & TV shows, music and apps, including daily and weekly offers. Countdown includes deals for both Xbox One and Xbox 360, with titles up to 60 percent off, including discounts on some of this year’s most popular games, like Final Fantasy XV, Battlefield 1, Watch Dogs 2 and many more! If that’s not enough choose from over 40 backward compatible titles on sale!”
What’s more is that those users who own either console will be able to purchase Xbox Live Gold for just $1 during that time period. Though the $1 only applies for the first month of membership, having the perk also lends added discount to select games in the sale. A trailer accompanying the announcement can be found below:
