The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series – A New Frontier Details Revealed
The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series – A New Frontier made its gameplay debut in the form of a new trailer at the Game Awards tonight. It was also revealed that the series premiere be released as two episodes, both available at launch!
As the debut trailer, titled The Ties That Bind, was announced, we were told that the game will follow the story of Javier. In the trailer we see how the beginning of the zombie plague affected him and his family before moving forward in time where he encounters a very familiar face years later.

When family is all you have left… how far will you go to protect it? Four years after society was ripped apart by undead hands, pockets of civilization emerge from the chaos. But at what cost? Can the living be trusted on this new frontier? As Javier, a young man determined to find the family taken from him, you meet a young girl who has experienced her own unimaginable loss. Her name is Clementine, and your fates are bound together in a story where every choice you make could be your last.
Telltale Studios stated that the premiere of season 3 was too big to fit into one episode, and would be released as two full episodes. This is good news, as it means there should be a lot of content available on day one!
The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series – A New Frontier is set to release on December 20th of this year, less than just 3 weeks away! It will be available on the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, PC, iOS, and Android. On February 14th, the series will also be available for purchase on a special ‘Season Pass Disc’ for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. This ‘Season Pass Disc’ will include the premiere episode for this third season, as well as access to all episodes in the five episode season as they become available for download.
