PS4 Pro Owners Get Some Free Credit
The PS4 Pro has sold well according to early sales figures but there been issues. Just after launch, reports surfaced that people were having a bit of a hard time getting their new consoles connected to their TVs. Wires connected to all the right places, power on and… black. No signal being sent to that 4K TV you bought for the occasion. While fixes have been coming in, we also learned Sony has been in a giving mood. Users in North America who purchased a PS4 Pro are receiving $10 in free PlayStation Store credit from Sony.
The credit is available via users’ important notification screens, titled “Welcome to the Best Place to Play!”, and can be redeemed against any purchase on the PS Store, including games, TV shows, movies and more. According to Sony’s message, the promotion is running through November 30, giving users plenty of time to take advantage of the PS4’s upcoming Black Friday deals. The offer comes hot on the heels of PlayStation’s ‘Buy $100, Get $15 Back‘ promotion, which ran last month.
The PS4 Pro will be available now at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of US$399. For those of us in Canada the PS4 Pro retails for $499.99.
