Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Zombies Double XP Weekend
Late yesterday, Infinity Ward tweeted that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Zombies is having a double XP weekend and it starts now. The XP weekend lasts until Monday so get in there folks!
For those playing other modes, developers also released a few tips to make Salvage collecting more bearable. In a brand new tweet, community managers outlined four ways Salvage can be quickly accumulated. These include completing Mission Team Rewards, supply drops, daily login bonuses and duplicate items in said supply drops.

Salvage is collected with progress, and it’s used to craft different tiers of the game’s weapon catalog. The major problem, however, is that Salvage drops are so tiny that it can sometimes take dozens of hours just to unlock a more advanced gun variation with major perks. To earn Salvage more quickly, supply drops can be purchased with real-world cash. This element has caused many critics to refer to the scheme as a pay-to-win scenario. After all, those that pay extra are far more likely to get better guns.
When we initailly played Zombies at Call of Duty XP this year we said this: Infinite Warfare’s new Zombies mode is full of clichés, cheesy one-liners and doesn’t stray too far away from the formula that put the mode on the map. What it does offer; however, is an experience that is full of energy and the fresh 80’s amusement park setting just works. Having hordes of crazed Zombie clowns shuffling towards you as they cackle away will only put a smile on your face. Zombies in Spaceland doesn’t reinvent Call of Duty’s Zombie mode but it’s easily shaping into one of the more entertaining Zombie slaying experiences fans have seen in quite some time.
